Biosignals provide means of giving a solution, where it is possible to non-invasively, identify aspects of our sensing and our actions to drive our machines. This challenging field requires working with noisy signals with little prior information, making traditional data analysis techniques redundant. The Biosignal group is attempting to work on biosignals using information as the basis for identifying features and classifying the signals.

We conduct Biosignals research towards Affordable Healthcare: to develop new technologies for health diagnostics that are affordable, smart and easy-to-use. We take a leading role in providing technical solutions and training methods in affordable healthcare diagnostic solutions and provide a platform for training Higher Degree Research (HDR) students to become future research leaders in developing and engineering solutions for healthcare technologies.
